THE BACK STORY

1870, Paris. After the first publication about Captain Nemo and his submarine "Nautilus", which attracted a lot of public attention, Jules Verne publishes the end of the story about the mysterious captain. Shortly before his death, Nemo says that he will keep all his scientific discoveries and his autobiography in a small unsinkable container: "The last one to get off the Nautilus will throw the container into the sea, and the waves will take it with them and... carry away.” Immediately afterwards, the Nautilus is destroyed. Of course, one might think that the whole story is just from Jules Verne's imagination. However, in private conversations, he maintained that all of the characters were real people. And now we can prove it! It's time to unravel Captain Nemo's secret and find the long-lost traces of his discoveries.

Be warned this is hard. The gift compartment is cylindrical and about 1cm in diameter and 3-4 cm deep. If you intend to use this as a gift box, consult the guide on their website for pictures of the inside. Otherwise it’s quite nicely made although some of the puzzles are a bit fiddly.
