The spinning top with stamina! Wind the string firmly around the body of the top. Place the steel pin in the hole, and place the top upright on a flat surface. Holding the pin firmly in one hand, with the other hand pull the string in order to set the top spinning. You can then lift the steel pin out, leaving the top spinning on its own. The top should run for 5 or 6 minutes. Maybe, if you find the perfect equilibrium, even longer...
