You and Einstein

At first sight, this looks like the familiar sliding block puzzle. However this is actually a more complex and challenging puzzle, with 9 sliding 'mirror' blocks within the plastic frame. Each block or cube contains a mirror, which is angled at 45 degrees. So when you look at an individual cube, you will see a reflection from one of the four sides. So when you slide one of the cubes, its image will change! It can also mean that even though you might have placed a block in the correct position, you will see the 'wrong' image because the block next to it is not the correct one!

There are two solutions. In one, you slide the blocks until they show a large picture of Einstein. In the other solution, you see a tiny image of Einstein in the centre block, surrounded just by mirrors!

In this puzzle, the blocks cannot be removed from the frame. You can only slide then into an available space.

Invented by Ivan Moscovich, this type of puzzle was originally called Mirror Blocks. However he has now renamed it Mirrorkal!

The puzzle comes in a smart presentation box.
