This is a hand painted wooden thumb toy - when you press the button underneath the toy, the little figure topples over, only returning to the upright position when you release the button.

However this toy has an additional twist. You place the top hat at the feet of the clown, and as he bends over, the hat pops onto his head. Magic! All done with magnets of course.

As Tim demonstrates in the video, if you release your thumb a little faster, the clown picks up the hat, which then flies off his head, as if in a strong wind!
