Tetraxis
The Tetraxis ® Puzzle is a new magnetic geometry toy for 2010. It consists of twelve identically shaped plastic sticks in four colours, which magnetically connect to one another. Build a rhombic dodecahedron, explore symmetry and colour combinations, or just enjoy this hands-on learning toy.
There are 12 pieces, all of which are identical in shape, although they come in 4 different colours. Each piece is 10cm long. Inside each piece are neodymium magnets, which allow the individual pieces to click together.
Designed by John and Jane Kostick, and supported by the Museum of Mathematics in New York, Tetraxis comes packaged in a smart presentation box.
