Shakespeare Hollow Face
After the worldwide popularity of the Einstein Hollow Face illusion, we decided to create a different version. Since we already had a scientist, we decided a contrast was needed, and so we chose the bard himself, William Shakespeare. As you walk around the room you will see that Shakespeare's face is following you in a quite uncanny way!
The mask was created by Brian Parkes and David Burder specially for Grand Illusions. It is made from a very strong plastic (opal styrene) and is virtually unbreakable. The mask can be stood up in a window and the whole face seems to follow you as you move around the room. Alternatively, you can place a light behind the mask, and achieve the same effect at night.
The mask is 44cm high.
