Hypotrochoids are mathematical curves traced by a point (your pen!) in a circle, rolling around the inside of a bigger circle. Mathematicians have studied these curves for centuries! While hypotrochoid formulae are complicated, creating hypotrochoid art is easy and fun!

The set comes packed in a smart tin, which contains 2 x hypotrochoid templates, each with 3 gears, plus three pens, one red, one blue and one green.
